About faulty wires

We're putting the roll back in rock n' roll!!!

Combining raw punk spirit and energy with witty and thoughtful lyrics about the idiosyncrasies of living life with a disability, faulty wires is ready to show the world just how cohesive the punk ethos is with the disabled experience.

Calling Atlanta home, faulty wires began as a series of demos recorded in frontman Jake Walker's basement apartment. Enlisting the guitar playing talents of lifelong friend/part-time caregiver Oliver Davis, the boys wrote the songs that would end up becoming the band’s debut EP throughout 2018-2020. In 2021, life pulled Ollie to Colorado, putting the project on uncertain footing with regards to ever reaching release. The following year, however, Jake rallied to finally get the boys' dream project recorded with the help of producer Daniel Annis and a team of studio musicians (comprised of both hired guns and high school friends alike).

The fruits of the band’s labor of love is the forthcoming EP, Punk Isn’t Dead... But Maybe It’s Disabled, available on all major streaming platforms on May 14!
